We love a fun, over-the-top wedding (who doesn't, right?), which is why we jumped at the chance to have a front-row seat at Serena Williams's blowout event. With her Grand Slam of a wedding, Serena was the natural choice to be our February/March 2018 cover star. Never mind that her wedding was happening after most of our deadlines had passed and we had to pull off the shoot and tell-all story in just about eight hours! No biggie. It made us feel like we were working at a newspaper, not a bimonthly magazine. But for a bride like Serena, it was worth it! Just take a look at our February/March 2018 issue-hitting newsstands now!-and we're sure you'll agree.

In case you missed it (HOW?!), Serena Williams tied the knot with Reddit cofounder Alexis Ohanian in a lavish wedding in New Orleans back in November. There, the tennis pro served up some serious style in not one, not two, but three wedding dresses. Choosing just one for Serena to wear on the cover felt a lot like going back and forth in a never-ending tennis match. So what was the Brides team to do? We shot two (!) different covers of Serena-on her actual wedding day, no less!

Yes, in between saying her I do's to Alexis and breaking it down on the reception dance floor, Serena was posing in two of her wedding gowns for our cover. Which mag will you snag? The one where Serena looks positively regal in a ceremony gown and cape by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen (shot by Bob Metelus, Erica Rodriguez, Mel Barlow, and Allan Zepeda)? “I flew to London to meet with Sarah and ended up falling in love with the ball-gown silhouette, which is completely the opposite of what I ever thought I would choose for myself," Serena told us of the to-die-for dress. Or will you get your hands on the one where Serena looks like a glam superhero in the Versace lace gown and cape she rocked at the reception (shot by Mel Barlow, Allan Zepeda, Bob Metelus, and Erica Rodriguez)?

No matter which edition you grab, you'll find the same expert-approved wedding planning tips and fab features inside. From a wedding pro's budget hacks to the newest wedding dresses you just have to try on, you'll get all the know-how on pulling off a medal-worthy wedding, just like our cover girl did!
